Unless you have been living in isolation for the past 2 decades you will know that Lanzarote has a deserved reputation for being one of Europe’s surfing hotspots and winter destinations. Whatever your preference, short and hollow or long and mellow, you’ll find it here.
From October through to April consistent swell pounds the lava reefs dotted along the North shore producing waves with near Hawaiian power. Average winter size is between 6ft – 10ft . When monster swells kick in people like Gary Elkerton and Tom Carrol can be seen towing in on the outer reefs.
For the rest of the year the island produces more mellow 2ft-6ft waves that are ideal beginners who want to learn on a beach break and intermediates who want to sample surfing a reef.

Core Business: Small independent travel co. formed in Y2k by 2 surfers living in Lanzarote.
Aim: Provide the type of surf trips we’d be stoked to go on.
Point of difference: We only specialise in surf trips to the Canary Islands. The team is based in Lanzarote and what we don’t know about surfing these islands isn’t worth knowing. We have tried and tested all of the elements that make up our surf trips and have total confidence in the products we sell. Nothing is left to chance.
