Fuerteventura has more to offer than just the breaks located around Corralejo and the North Shore. Explore the lesser known spots dotted all over the island.
A word of caution
even for experienced windsurfers some of the spots on the island can be pretty hardcore, local knowledge is very important, ask us or a local before you leap blindly into a break.
When to go
The Windsurfing academy in Fuerteventura North is open all year round as Fuerteventura will deliver suitable wind and waves for beginners and intermediate ability windsurfers all year. If you are looking for a wave riding holiday, the winter months produce bigger swells and offer more consistency. If you want the best possible wind and flatter waters the summer months deliver consistant wind.
Accommodation
We have a budget Surf Hostel option along with Self-catering apartments in the resort. You can choose to hire a rental car and collect it at the airport, or we can meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation.

Other Kicks
When you are not windsurfing Corralejo has a lot to offer from beautiful white beaches to rugged mountain villages. So either relax on the beach or explore the unique island by car. In the evenings party the night away (see our nightlife guide). Bear in mind that too much alcohol and windsurfing in the blazing sun can be a dangerous cocktail.
