KITESURF CENTRE AND TEAM
KiteSurf Centre FuerteventuraThe KITESURF CENTRE was founded in 1997, is a recognised VDWS/IKO center and has been successfully running kitesurfing courses for people of all ages from all over the world. InstructorsThe centre have an experienced team of kitesurfing instructors who are accustomed to coaching at different levels. Most of the team have travelled extensively, have a healthy respect for the ocean and the environment and are fully qualified in their respective countries. Languages spoken include: French, German, English, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Norweigian and Danish. The team have a keen interest in other sports such as surfing, sailing, windsurfing, snowboarding and diving. Coaching
We offer a wide range of coaching and tuition, from beginner up to advanced. If it's your first attempt at kite surfing you will start with the IKO beginners course outlined below. Upon completion of the course you will recieve an IKO kiteboarder card which can be used anywhere in the world to further your training.
If you have already attained a kiteboarding level through an IKO affiliated school then bring your IKO kiteboarder card and the team will allocate a course to take you to the next level. All lessons take place on the natural beaches and lagoons dotted around the island.

Equipment
The centre stock over 20 kiteboards and about 50 Kites. The equipment is designed for beginners, intermediates and advanced kitesurfers. Safety is always a key factor. Beginners will use boards designed for both stability and safety and the instructors will select a board suitable for your size, weight and level. All the equipment is checked and maintained on a regular basis to ensure you have the best material at your disposal. The centre also provide a wide range of good quality wetsuits at no extra charge.
