The 'Lava lounge' over 300 volcanoes cover the surface of this small island. Lanzarote lies to the north of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands chain. Often refered to as the Hawaii of Europeas it can get big, powerful waves firing off its reefs throughout October to March, but is consistent enough throughout the rest of the year to score good waves whenever you visit. The Island picks up swells on its North, East and West coasts.

Being of volcanic origin, Gran Canaria encompass a great many of the varied landscapes that are found in the archipelago. It is this characteristic, as well as its diverse climatic conditions, which have earned the island its epithet of "miniature continent". The island has a huge variety of beach breaks from the fine golden sand beaches in the south to the dark sand beaches in the north andsmall rounded lava stone beaches in between. Gran Canaria is the perfect choice for surfers with no experience, beginners or intermediates.
